Account Director - Nerd Herd
Nerd Herd is seeking an experienced Account Director to drive client success in the HVACR industry. This critical role serves as the primary strategic partner for our top clients, focused on building strong, growth-oriented partnerships and delivering ROI-driven marketing solutions. As Account Director, you will immerse yourself in clients’ businesses, products, services, and competitive landscape while collaborating with Project Managers, Strategic Consultants, and Sales Executives. You’ll leverage your understanding of the digital marketing landscape to develop and execute strategies that align with client goals and achieve measurable results. This position provides the opportunity to shape impactful marketing strategies for leading HVACR companies alongside a team of dedicated marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Champion: Act as the advocate for the client from proposal through project completion, consistently building strong relationships.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead strategic planning across channels (social, email, website) and oversee cross-channel campaigns.
- Client Onboarding & Launch: Partner with Sales to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, communicate deliverables, and set expectations.
- Project Management Collaboration: Work with Project Managers to maintain timelines and meet project briefs.
- Insights & Strategy Development: Use market research and industry insights to create comprehensive marketing strategies that address client needs.
- Account Growth: Identify growth opportunities and introduce relevant Nerd Herd services to meet client business goals.
- Proposal & Contract Support: Collaborate with Sales to manage proposals, contracts, and project initiation phases.
- Quarterly & Annual Reviews: Conduct regular reviews with clients, refining strategy alignment and exploring new growth pathways.
- Creative Review: Ensure all creative assets are top-quality and meet client objectives before presentations.
- ROI Tracking & Reporting: Set up and manage campaign reports, highlighting KPIs and ROI for client transparency.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience (HVAC or construction industry preferred)
- Proven success in managing multiple (5+) client relationships simultaneously and overseeing large, multi-channel marketing programs
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems, and project management tools (HubSpot, Teamwork preferred)
- Ability to translate complex marketing concepts into actionable strategies for high-level client discussions
- Data-driven with a keen eye for interpreting analytics to guide marketing decisions
- Experience with developing and executing marketing strategies to achieve measurable ROI

Employment Type
This position begins as a contract-to-hire role at 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
